Off the way question...pushrods

I found small relief dimples near the top. Then I checked some otheres and didnt see them (possibly in upside down?) Pushrods have an up or down? or does this matter?

there should be ''dimples'' in each side of the pushrod to move oil up to the rocker arms which lubricate the valve train

Thanks..I probably just over looked them (I admit I didnt look too hard).
