OBD1 high stall fix, is it "fixed"

Guys I'm tired of fiddling with OBD2 and having to send my PCM back and forth every freakin' time I need to make an update.

I'd really like to go OBD1 so I can tune the car locally and make small changes when I need to such as idle adjustments and shift point changes.

I have a 2800 stall now, and am planning to go 3400 in several months.

Is this "fixed".... I don't mind sending an OBD1 PCM to pcmforless for an initial tune to get the fix and a baseline for my cam, but I definitely do not want to waste time and cash unless there are several people who can say "it's fixed"...

Thanks guy, I'm a little frustrated since I feel my car is running like a slug and I'd like to fine tune the PCM on a dyno.

First off......... how ya been? Havent heard from you in a while. The fix for me seems to have worked. I am cutting consistant 1.61 60' times & no problems yet. Bryan from pcmforless did it for me. C'mon over to the OBD1 land...

Hey Eddie.. pretty good.. you? I've been pretty busy, got married a few months ago, settling into the house, and getting back into the PC hobby since summer, Florida, and racing don't go well together.

About this time every year I start getting back into the car swing

Glad to see it's working for you.... I'm swinging pretty hard towards OBD1, I've got an E-mail in to Bryan to see what he can work out. I feel like the car's a slug with the times it ran earlier this year (12.8 @ 105 in the heat and humidity), but we'll see how it goes

Good to be back in ole LT1 tech

Well, spoke to Bryan and he says that only 2 cars that he has done have not worked out with the fix.

I'm gonna give this a shot in a month or so when racing is back in season
