OBD1 Diagnostic tool

Is there a program I can buy to scan my car myself? I have a 95 Z28. Thanks!

Re: OBD1 Diagnostic tool

you can get a cable from akm cables and hook it to a laptop if you have one. Then use freescan, which is free to read the codes, i believe the cable is around $90. Your going to need the obd II cable for your car even though it is an obdI computer. For some reason they used the obdII plug on the 95's but still stuck with the obdI computer.

Re: OBD1 Diagnostic tool

I think it is on the akm cable site as free software or downloads.
