As I stated in a previous post, I am wiring up my 83 z-28 for a LT1. I am going to wire in the harness that goes to ignition, fuses, lights, etc. Is that ONLY harness fit in all the LT1 computers without a problem? I know 93 had a speed density, then 94+ had a MAF, then I think 96+ went to OBD or something like that. I don't want to spend two months wiring in a harness and then have to re-do it because I ended up getting a 1997 LT1. Will this harness fit in all the computers without a problem? or am I just going to have to hope I can get the right year engine....The year of the engine won't matter vs the computer right?

 

Differences in wiring and sensors lie between 1993 and 1994, then also 1995 and 1996. Everything before 1996 is OBDI for LT1 f-bodies. OBDII 1996 and up.
