OBD 1 Scantool

I have a 95 Z28 M6 all stock. Does anyone know where I can find a scantool to purchase that will read the OBD I codes, one with the special adapter because I have a 16 pin OBD II type connector. My friend tried to use his, but it said that it couldn't read it (it was OBD II scantool). I tried Oreilly's and Autozone websites, but could not find it. Thanks

What I would like to buy is the adapter made for this specific use, not just throw in the jumper wires everytime I need to use the scanner. I also searched auto part stores that have some OBD I and II scanners, but under the descriptions, they say "Scans [U]some[U] 94-95 GM codes. I'd hate to buy it only to find out it wasn't what I was looking for, besides, I'm not very clear on the name of the adapter I am looking for, so that makes it a little harder to find as well.

Didn't mean to start an un-neccessary thread, sorry for the inconvenience.

Get free scan software, TTS DataMaster or Andy Whittaker's FreeScan:

Then get a 95 16-pin cable from AKM Electronics:

http://www.akmcables.com/

Or Get a ScanMaster LT1, wire it directly to the ALDL connector and mount it in the AC vent for full-time scanning.
