i want to keep the cats in case i ever do want to put them back on and actually use them for what they're supposed to do. they dont look under the car here, everyone ive talked to... my friend took his 85 Iroc yesterday with side pipes, they stuck the sniffer right in there and then when the guy saw the sheet he was like OMG. they are a bunch of stupid middle eastern guys that dont know anything.lol. either way, im just wondering how big i will need to go to match up the pipes. i know on my 93 it was 2.75 but idk about on this car, seems like a reasonable guess but anybody know for sure? thnks

anybody know the stock pipe size?

Thought it was 2.5 inches. You can always make a measurement with an adjustable wrench or slip joint pliers. Measure the jaws inside dimensions when they are around the pipe.
