o2 sim location

can someone tell me were the o2 sim is? i had someone install my longtubes and o2 sims (never again, im gonna do everything from now on) and one of the sims is bad, and im gettin a code. pics would be great. thanx

O2 sims thread are located in the exhaust pipes just to the rear of the cats.

theres no cats, i have longtubes with ory and they were installed by someone else so i really have no idea were the sim is under the car, im gettin a code for no activity from the driverside rear o2, and think it may be a dead o2

Prob up beside your trans. The wiring runs down through there and the sim just plugs into it. Probably blue in color.

I guess you have no emissions (no cats)? Why would they use sims why wouldn't the just delete them out?

i have emissions, but its the obd2 plug in one and the sims are the way to go. thanx for the info

I just removed my simms, and the passenger side one was tucked into a ball of wire and zip tied to something just next to the wheelwell just where the headers start to turn up towards the motor.

The driver's side was zip tied about midway back on a fuel line.
