I have a 97 Z-28 that I just put a cc305 cam in w/springs a set of bbk shorty headers, pcm for less tuning gutted cats with exhaust cutout,underdrive pulley,nx wet kit, cold air intake, tb bypass, tb airfoil, 1le elbow, bosh platinum plugs, accell 300+ wires, and a few other mods. I just got the car back together and started driving it regularly and Ive noticedthat its ticking from the vavle cover area and since ive re-adjusted the vavles 2 times and still have the same ticking. It had a bent pushrod and thats when I put the cam and all in. Could that have messed up the lifter and thats whats ticking? Or could it be something else. Also sinse the headers cam and tune my computer throws a code for a O2 heater circut malfunction in the two front sensors. Does this mean I simply need to replace them or do I need to do something to bypass them because of the mods Ive made. Thanks for your help and I really appreciate all your responses and help.
