o2 sensor wiring problem

o2 sensor wiring problem

have a new car in my fleet, 94 formula...

problem- o2 wire harness was lengthened for jet hot long tubes and the wires look terrible, small gauge, butt conectors, grounding out on starter from rubbing.

i have noticed the cat for this bank is blown out, if im right fixing this wiring issue will resolve the problem there...

question- what should i do to fix the harness? the harness was cut and extended, so im gonna try and repair the harness to factory length, then add extentions for the o2 sensors.

anything wrong with this? is there a better way to fix this problem?

Solder and some heat shrink tubing for the connections and some wire loom over the whole thing to prevent future rubbing, maybe use some of that silver heat shield tape over that if your running near the headers
