number 4 cylinder miss

after getting trouble code 0304 #4 cylinder missfire I tested the spark plug wire a msd wire and got a reading of. 72 on the ohm meter I trested a piece of wi9re about 1/2 the length that I had lying around and it showed .32 or so. so I believe the wire to be fine. then I pulled the plug and it appears near new. It only has 4k miles or so and then started the car to see if it ran any different with the plug wire completly disconnected and it was the same. any suggestions on where to go from here????????????

as far as I can tell the opti terminal for #4 is also in great shape it has about the same amount of mileage

Did you actually crank the engine and see if there was spark at the plug? Another thing could be that it is not getting any (or much) fuel from a bad injector.

don't know if it would cause your code or not, but check the plug as well, and do like shoebox says and see if you're actually getting spark to the plug.

I did not try to check the plug by holding it on the intake or anything but I did listen to the injector with a scredriver like a stehescope and it make the same clicking noise as the other properly functioning injectors

If I hold the plug by the wire boot above the intake what are the chances of me getting shocked?
