Hey supermo,

Sounds like a great package. What kind of power are you looking to get? Where in FL are you? Good luck. I'm just starting to gather all the parts for a new bullit.

You can get a rough estimate through this page for parts/labor. the machining prices page outlines pretty much everything.

Nick never ceases to impress me with his work. If I had the money, my block would be on its way there for a 396 build-up right now.

Ouch kinda Pricey. I have done business with Nick on some used parts. Was pleased with the outcome.

Im going to be building a 396 and have priced all the parts out plus the machine work and it will still be under $4900 and thats with buying an used bare LT4 block. I have a set of LT1 Heads that have been ported I bought for $480 without core. They are bare but once they are finished I will have $1200 in them. $3000 in parts and $450 in machine work.

Should put out 400 + RWHP on an A4.

Thumbs up

Customer service at Nu-tek is second to none.

I can say with 100% certainty, that our next project car will have a short block built by Nick. IMO, his prices are very reasonable, and his experience and knowledge can not be beat.

Nick is awesome, Jill is awesome,.... I LOVE NU-TEK!!!

Last week I had an oil pan problem; and in total desperation, I called them with what I KNEW was a next to impossiable request. They bent over backwards tracking down what I needed, modified the part for me, and even got it here in time for the weekend. They went above and beyond what anyone would expect them to do, and they totally saved the day in the process!

I can not begin to explain how extremely impressed I am.
They take great care of their customers.

Nu-tek rocks.

Ditto on Nu-tek!!

You are going to install the above stuff like LT, intake, opti, and WP when the engine goes in right, not after?

Good luck. Your engine and your car will be great.

cheers

I'd like to place it on an engine stand so I can set the headdersin place, just long enought to route my Taylor plug wires over the top. I also need to do some clearanceing to the LT4 valve covers. One side fits real close and the other will need some grinding.

I also want some cool pictures.

Once the Engine is in the bay, I will bolt on all the acces. That wil give me the most space for dropping in down in. I can't wait to drive my car. Its been a year already and I miss her so bad.

The car may not be the fastest on the street or track but It should hold it's own. I don't even know a lot about driving. I have had a wreck in the past when I was younger, just like everyone else I guess. I think Im pretty good driver, but so does everyone else. Right?
