Good to hear that you are going to get your money back. I wanted them to build my 383 not long ago but I could not get anyone to call me back. Glad they did not. But a year before that he told me they would have it done in 2 weeks. Are you still going to build you an engine when you get your money back?
Anyways good luck

Re: Nu-tek Motorsports / Nick Norris

Sorry about everyone's bad experience. I had thought until now, this guy was as straight as an arrow. I offer this bad news:

The better business bureau is only a mediator for companies that chose to belong to the better business bureau. They have no legal authoritiy. The way I look at them is they are legal exstortion. A company pays them between 600 and 700 per year to only hear from them when they complain. Chances are good they do not belong to BBB so the BBB can't do anything to any company that does not belong to their organization.

As far as anyone that has a judgement against the company or person. They will not be able to collect. A local sheriff could issue a Fieri Facia (spelling not the greatest) pronounced far fay, where by a bond is issued and the sheriff collects goods that he feels equals the value of the judgement and then auctions it off. The plaintiff has to post the bond and pay for all the sheriff's time.

You could put a lean against property but until the property is sold, there will be no payment. And if this schmuck files for protection under the bankruptcy court AND names the individual as a creditor, then all bets are off unless the plaintiff goes to the bankruptcy hearing.

I only mention this not to **** anyone off (sure that happened anyway) but to inform people that there is little or nothing they can do after the fact. They should prepare and organize their efforts BEFORE entering into a venture. Also, be very wary of dealing with any company or individual that you do not have face to face contact with. The internet is a perfect example of that.

We (me and my atty) are going for the jugular. If it comes down to it we'll make so that we can put a lien on any future paychecks/income tax returns. I WILL get my money back, one way or another
