With all the crap that has been posted about this guy in the past year or so, I can't believe anyone still does business with him...

I have a suit against him, and was just wondering if hes still doing business or if hes closed up shop.

Based solely on what I've read, he appears to have accepted more work than he could deliver on. There is probably more to the issue.

That's probably the biggest reason right there. He and his shop kind of exploded after that GMHTP article, and got swamped too quickly.

Thats no excuse for him not to give me my motor that was paid in full or return the 12.5K I paid him

How long ago did you pay him? how long has he had you motor? When did he say he would have it ready to ship out when you paid him?

If its been over 2months that he has had your motor and money. And for the last 3weeks you have been calling and leaving a messages. And he does not call you back. I would contact the better business Bureau And make a complaint and also see how many they have on them now. Sound like I would make a road trip if he had 12.5K of my money

Re: Nu-tek Motorsports / Nick Norris

That's a shame. And it makes no sense to me. I mean why do people do this - run a seemingly respectable business into the ground?

If they were smart enough to understand the importance of doing oing quality work before all this started, you'd think the owner would be smart enough to avoid falling into this trap? And if you can't manage the workload you say, woa ok, let's talk to our customers and work out a schedule with some kind of compensation for lateness, rather than pissing customers off with silence and / or poor quality work.

I wasn't saying it was. It's their own fault for taking on more business than they could handle, and now people are getting screwed big time by them.
