NSA 1.6 RR's (questions)

Ok, so I'm thinking about going NSA since I'll be going with a larger cam. Here's my questions.

Where and how much are GMPP Guideplates?
What kind of machine work if any is required for 7/16" instead of 3/8" pushrods are required? And are 7/16" really that much better? Also who makes some good hardened pushrods? Can you still run a stud girdle with the guide plates (I'm almost positive I can just want to make sure before I purchase)

Another thing I've heard about the aluminum RR's is breakage. On a let's say 7000 RPM motor how long do these usually last before they start to crack etc? Or are they reliable?

Ok so 7/16" should be fine for what I'm doing then... H/C 383. What kind of guide plates would you recommend then? I've heard good things about the GMPP plates???

My GMPP's got chewed up from the hardened pushrods since they themselves arent hard enough. I went with Isky Adj. ones, which I personally like since I can better position each rocker onto the valvestems. Everyone is talking Trickflow, but I havent seen nor heard of how good they work.
