Now it's overheating...

Just got this thing on the road. worked out a lot of the bugs except now it's over heating. I tried to bleed the system but all I get is air. I get bubbles in the overflow tank while it's running then just air from the bleeder.

I've took out the thermostat and filled the thing to the brim. crank it over with the radiator cap off and water shoots 5 feet in the air.

I'm stumped. I'm gonna continue to bleed it.

There will be sludge under the oil fill cap and valve cover if the car makes alot of short trips and doesnt get the oil hot enough to boil off condensation. Obviously though there will be alot more if the head gasket has failed though.

I've only driven the car 2 days now... and there was grossness around the oil cap... I have aftermarket covers and the cap is right on the cover. Quite a lot of water in the baffle. 5 or 6 big drops.

but I'm pretty sure it's a gasket seeing that I went with .026 gaskets. it over heated and to shoot water like that I must have a super kick *** water pump of something is pressurizing the system like crazy...

You should put that in your mods list in your sig "super kick *** water pump" .

But youre right I just wasnt thinking, I thought you meant you pulled the cap off when it was hot and it did that.
