I picked up one of those remote start buttons and tried it on my blazer. It took me forever to get it hooked on the starter since I don't have little girl hands, but I finally got it hooked up and it wouldn't turn over? Maybe the connections were too dirty...

Mine was doing the same thing. At times it would start fine, then at times I go and try to start it you hear the starter solenoid just click. Try a few more times and the car starts. Replaced my starter and problem gone.

In this case my car does not ever start, but it could be the same thing. I shouldn't have bothered having my starter tested because now I hate to buy a new one knowing the old one tested fine.
