right now i have, Edelbrock headers and 3” exhaust system from the headers back, to a magnaflow muffler, cats and all are also still on.Im debating on getting a electric cut out.But i dont really want it just for the loudness,would there be any kinda gains? if it helps any, the motor in the car the cut out will be going on is a 383 stroker.

 

It will make it louder therefore it will seem faster. There will be a slight hp gain but neither your *** or mine is calabrated well enough to tell a seat of the pants gain.

 

I'm sure you will see a small gain, maybe anywhere from 2-10hp at the wheels from what I've seen.

 

I picked up a 10rwhp gain and 5ft lbs with the cut out open on my 383 stroker.
