Not Using Rear Sway Bar Bad????

I am currently not running a rear sway bar on my 1996 formula....is it going to mess anything up by not using one...I know older cars don;t have sway bars and that they are basically for curves and such...but since i only go fast in a staight line will it be okay????

Other than handling a bit sloppy, no adverse affects. A guy I know doesn't run any sway bars when running at the track.

As long as you only go in a straight line, I guess it's ok.

Under hard launches with no rear sway bar or sub frames wouldnt the rear quarter krinkle more as some cars already do with the sways ??

It shouldnt hurt anything by not having one but it might hurt traction. I know that there are a few companies that make drag race rear sway bars, so they must do something for traction. I still have my back one on but took of the front one. The front sway bar binds up your front suspension and helps to lift the front end and give a better weight transfer.
