im not sure wat could cause this, but today i got gas and about 5 min after my car started to stumble wen accelerating and it looses all its power and shakes and stumbles wen i hit the gas. but if i manually shift the car down to second and its at like 3500 rmps it kinda goes away? anyone know what this could be... mabye bad gas, spark plugs, opti? (94 z28 automatic)

 

all signs point to bad gas..probably water in the gas. buy a bottle of heat and put it in the tank should fix the problem.

"Heat" is fuel additive that you put into the gas tank. If there is water in the tank, it allows it to mix with the gas and be burned. They sell it in the cold climates to keep fuel lines from freezing. It also goes by the name gas antifreeze.
