Not a kill story but....

I was gonna post in kill story section, but it isnt a kill story. I almost got whipped by some total sleeper import this evening.
I didnt see him coming. I accelerated because a guy in a jeep was riding my butt. The import car beside me nailed it, jumped up to me, sprayed, and hung with me thru second. I was inching ahead, but let off for safety sake and no speeding tickets needed. He flew on away. I gotta get more mods! I cant have imports hanging close!!!!

What mods do you have now? Add a few mods and I doubt too many of 'em will be hanging close .

With the amount of money the 4 cyl import spent to keep up with your Z28, you could probably have your car deep into teh 11's or 10's..

You'll like the 3.42's, it'll feel like a world of difference.

yeah

I think it will too. I also think that the CAI might compliment my 52mm TB better than the stock filter box(which I cut out to make the filter less restricted). I had a MSD 6A on my other 93Z I had and it was a big difference too. My car needs a tune up bad too.
I bought it from this kid who couldnt afford it. It has been somewhat neglected and I am gonna just have to basically go all thru it and find what is needed. It stinks when you dont "know the car" that well.

I'd definately get the car in good shape before I started modding. It'll save a lot of hassle down the road.

CAI is always the best. No matter what everyone says....of the bolt ons...the CAI is the one had the most SOTP feel. That is a big one.

I'd have to dissagree about teh CAI...after i "bolted" on my ported and polished heads, the gain seemed a little greater than just the cai...

Yeah I went cold air and and a tire on my A4 and went 5 tenths quicker, so I'd say that the cold air did a world of difference, the DR only gave me 1 tenth in my 60 foot. So it was all mainly the cold air

I didnt see him coming

Well I did see mine coming......... I got my azz handed over on a platter by no-other than a Freaky "VIPER!!!"

Yeah mine is not a kill story... more like a "got killed" story but then I got killed by a worthy oponent Not trying to flame you.. on the contrary. If you had hung up in there a bit longer you would've smoked the import once it ran out of RPMs. After all you got more cylinders per crank shaft turn. Give it a bit over 120mph and the import is history unless it has a laughin gassed supercharged V6 in it, but then think about it, "what if you had laughing gassed supercharged LT1?? (evil grin)

I read somewhere that Racin in an Import car its like wining the special olympics. Even if you win you are still Retarded
