Your pushrods must have looked like oil derricks to loose two quarts of oil while adjusting your rockers.

Yeah I guess. Well my last motor. that I had. MY DUmb Self Neglected To HOT tank the BLOCK. SO it wasnt manking NO OIL PRESSURE at all. So now I got it hot tanked and evertying its making OIl pressure and I do the rockers now and oil gets all over the Friggin place. IT was bad.

Thanks in advance !
I ordered the studs and tray from Jegs they are milodon peices, I had to do a little clearancing for the longer stroke of the crank, but my stock pan fit right over it all.

Milodon diamond stripper windage tray....697-32250 74.99

Milodon tray installation studs (kit)...........697-81150 42.99

These are the part #s that Jegs uses for them.

The pump was a factory GM replacement bought from a Chevy dealer (he had a few overstock and let me have it dirt cheap.)

But I used the stock pick-up welded on and a white Z-28 spring.

Thanks a ton WS Sick! I'll order the stuff in the next week. You've been very helpful. One last question: Does your oil pump use the big 3/4" pickup tube or the smaller "normal" size 5/8" tube. Just curious.

My stock pump and the replacement I bought at the chevy house both had the bigger tubes.
