normal oil pressure

i have a 95 m6 t/a
i just changed my air filter (paper one) and fuel filter.
afterwords i noticed that my oil pressure was a little high (have no idea if there is any relevence)
anyhow the oil pressure under idle is usualy about 40-60 (
and under throttle it will usualy hit 60-70
is there something wrong with this or is this normal
( i thought it was kinda good coz atleast it meens i dont have any major oil leeks )

is there anyway to fix this i.e. a breather?

There are those that would be envious of your oil pressure. Be happy yours is good. The work you did should not have affected it at all.

how could the cam affect pressure at WOT? the only factor is rpm is'nt it which determines pressure increase(not including the motor it self i mean, and how much it is worn) i can see it affecting pressure at idle, since it would be low and sparatic and vary easiy...?

Also, are you guys talking about oil pressure while cold, cuz mines always 58-64 cold, and even better WOT, but hot, its about 22-24 idle...so since you say it was right after you changed this stuff, so it had at least a 1/2 hour to cool, so i assume this is cold pressure which is normal for sure, so you have nothing to worry about, but that pressure is good even for cold, so congrats...how many miles?

Maybe you need to check the connection to the oil pressure sensor or get a new sensor if you are worried about it. I might see 60 max when hot and the rpms are up.

Everyone else's aren't "low", they are just lower than yours (which is more typical). Gasket leaks don't cause low oil pressure.

exactly.......check connection, thats a bit too high, unless prob. someone may have tore into it an installed a high vol pump if the motor was ever out?
