Question Noob Question How much H.P. should my car have???????

Yes I am a noob for sure, I just bought A 94 z28 M6 it has the K&N cold air kit, Com 306 cam, Gross valve lift .510/.540 I think,Ported heads with the comp springs, Pace setter Long tube headers, Pace setter offroad Y-pipe Full 3" exhaust with a single in dual out Flowmaster, It also has a MSD Digital window switch Not sure how to use it though. Also had the PCMforless tune for the cam.

Just wondering what the H.P. Should be, I know Some of you will say just go and get it dyno tested but Im not sure where to go or if it really even matters. Also It does not have an ignition Enhancement Such as an MSD Ignition Would that help??? Im sorry But I am a Noob!!! Oh by the way it also has a 100 H.P. Shot of Wet TNT Nitrous.

Its really hard to say unless you have some flow #s from the heads, injector size, or a handfull of others.

But I'd say anywhere from 350-430 off nitrous, depending on the dyno and how much time they put into tuning the car.

But this is just a guess, so take it for what its worth

It's an engagement/disengagement switch for nitrous. Do you know if it has nitrous plumbing? You are able to turn the N20 on and off at a given rpm. It's a safety mechanism used to help avoid blowing up your engine by either spraying N20 into the engine at too low or too high of a rpm.
I'm not a big fan of MTI, but they're right close to you and at least have a dyno: http://www.motorsporttech.com/contacts01.asp
You take your car there I'm sure they'll try to talk you into getting a LS1.

~350rwhp tops unless you have good heads. That flowmaster catback is killing you.

What Exhaust system do you recommend?

Depends what you can tolerate. True duals will give the biggest gain, and I have no regrets getting mine. They would probably be too loud for a daily if you run them dumped, but I have mine run out theback without any compaints.

Those wheels look like the Firebird Firehawk wheels, but I may be wrong. My buddy has those wheels on his 95 firebird. And the exhaust isn't killing you. All aftermarket mufflers flow better than stock, but the design on these cars is just stupid and kills the flow. For your setup I'd look into a mufflex if its a daily driver. Its a single 4" catback with a good muffler and either a single tip, hidden tip, or dual tips. They are kind of expensive, but I really like the sound of them. But then again I love the sound of my car so its all just personal preference. Or else you could get true duals, or a # of other options. Go to www.ls1sounds.com and see what you like as far as sound and the buy it.

That catback is not "killing you", you could put ANY single in/out muffler on it and be fine, even a FLowmaster. ANY crossflow muffler will not flow as well as a single/in out muffler.

Use the catback you have on the car and install a single in/out Magnaflow muffler with a dump on the drivers side.

i'm in houston too, my friend took his 02 Z28 to this place called MTI to get it dyno tuned. they do a base dyno, tune, then after dyno. it will cost you a pretty penny... but i have the number to the place if you want to PM me for more info. its also near the galleria area.

as for the exhaust, i'd suggest a cutout. i've read on here on highly modded cars a gain of 30+rwhp from a flowmaster catback.
