non-vented to vented opti
non-vented to vented opti
I will be needing a new opti-spark in the near future and am considering converting to the vented type since it should work better.
Could someone please tell me what all the parts are that i will need to do this so i know what to order?
thanks in advance.

When I did mine I bought-
LT4 Hot cam kit, 95 timing chain cover, 95 timing chain and cam gear, all the hoses, electrical harnesses, all the gaskets, and of course the opti. I got all this stuff from Jason Cromer for about $800. I think a couple of the prices have gone up, but you should be close. You can call him and tell him that you are doing the vented opti swap and he pretty much takes the part number off the top of his head. You dont have to use the Hotcam, I just was stupid. Wanted something cheap and easy, now I want to go bigger. In the kit you get the cam 218/228 @.525/.525 with the 1.6 rr's (included also), springs, and the seats-reatiners and locks. LMK if you need anymore help.
