Bose stereo speakers?
Bose stereo speakers?
I have a blown front speaker in my 95Z. It has a stock Delco/Bose system.
I just realized that there are no back speakers in the backseat area, just speaker covers?
There is 1 speaker in the hatch area.
So, do I buy a new front speaker and from where?
or do I just put speakers in the back seat area?
any suggestions would be great.

I had the same thing happen when I got my car (no rear speakers) I put in a set of Sony X-Plod 6 3/4" speakers I got from Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-oo1GOrWLPKI/). The only thing to keep in mind is that the sound from the rear speakers won't be as good as the sound from the fronts or the hatch because each speaker in the Bose system is powered by its own amp attached to the speaker. I still need to pick up an amp to boost the power of my rear speakers. I think your best bet would be to get new rear speakers and an amp (40x2 would be fine to power the rear speakers) and eventually just get a factory replacement for the front speakers (I'm sure you'll come across one in the "For Sale" section eventually.). Hope this helps.
You have a 3 speaker Bose system.
A 5 speaker Bose has the 2 sail panel speakers, and the amps for those are in the rear sub enclosure.
The sub enclosures differ from 3 to 5 speaker systems.
