Noise at WOT

I have a noise that happens at WOT only. It comes on around 4K or so, all the way to redline. The sound is almost like a blower whine. Its been doing it for years and I could never find where its coming from.

I don't have the stock bellows anymore but have had a Fernco coupler on for almost 10 years. No leaks that I can see.

Just seeing if anybody has ever heard of it. Its more annoying/embarrassing that anything else.

Thanks

Is it possible the serpentine belt is slipping? Alternator bearings? Idler pulley? Try running it without the belt, and see if the noise disappears.

I did put a brand new belt on it and it didn't change at all, even a little shorter than the one that was on. Didn't run without it though. If it was a bearing, I would have thought it would have went a few years ago.
