Noise with the clutch in

When i first start the car in the morning, i put the clutch in and start it up, If i put the clutch in after that it makes this funny buzzing noise that goes away when i shift it into gear while in park or rev the engine. When the car is warmed up i dont have this problem. Any ideas. The clutch still grabs like a champ with no slipping.

usually a noise associated when the clutch pedal engaged is the throw-out bearing. Usually they SQUEEL real loud when you have a bad throw-out bearing but yours could be just starting to go south. It's my best guess. They don't cost much but it's kind of a pain to change since you have to drop the U-joint, and pull the transmission to get to it. Ughhh!

UNLESS

Shobox or someone else here has a short cut technique????

The same thing happens with my car. I took it to the dealership and they couldn't get the noise to happen. It only happens when it is cold after sitting for a long time. I've come to the conclusion that it is the throw out bearing.

What will happen if you continue to drive the car in this condition. Will it eventually just fail or cause a lot more damage to the trans?

From what i understand, from the guy at the trans shop, it was my pressure plate that was starting to solapse in on itself causing this noise.
