A noise

I have a 94 camaro LT1, I have been hearing a noise from the driver side whenever I accelerate. It doesn't do the noise at steady speed or just at a idle. Please help I would like to get it fixed so I can enjoy my car this summer.

Re: A noise

lol without being there to hear it in person we all can give some form of logical advice, but it will be 1 in a 100 chance if we get it right.

my vote is exhaust leak at the collector!

Re: A noise

Re: A noise

Noise? Tapping, squealing, rattling, backfire......................

Got to narrow it down a bit.

Re: A noise

The noise is like a rattle, everyone I know is telling me it's a vacuum leak but doesn't sound like it to me. The person I bought it from had the intake manifold gasket replaced is it possible that it needs to be retorqued? Like I said it only happens when I push on the gas and while I'm shifting. I'll make a video so everyone can hear the noise. I just want it fixed I hate having it just sit in the garage, it took 4 years for me to get another camaro.

Re: A noise

that is still not very specific. the only rattle my car ever had was the baffle in the left valve cover came loose and was being hit by one of the rocker arms. try to listen closely and see if you can be more specific on the area or the noise. does it make the noise only while driving down the road or does it do it if you rev it up while sitting still in your garage?
