NO!! what's wrong with my car??

When I came home from work tonight, I parked my z28 in the garage, and went to go inside and I heard a noise. I found out what it was, there was water dripping from somewhere under the hood, and it would hit something hot and sizzle... I looked under the car and there was one small puddle, it was about the size of the cup holder in the car. It looks like its under the passenger side engine mount, anyone know what this is??

Were you running your AC? If so, that's perfectly normal. If not, it could be the waterpump, but that'd be in the center of the car. Sounds like it's your air conditioning to me.

No it's not the AC. It's been about 2 hours now, I just went and checked it again, and the sizzle noise I was hearing was the water hitting the exhaust pipe. I was wrong when I said it was comming from under the engine mount, its really comming from about a foot infront of the cat converter. the water was hitting the pipe and sizzling. Now there's alot of water, the water has moved it's way outside the garange.

I will have to look tommorow.... My car has had a horrible day... I woke up, the front left tire was completely flat. I took it off, looked for a hole, found none. Oh well, so I pumped it up and it was fine. Go to start the car, battery is completely dead. I left the lights on lastnight get all that fixed, go to work, on the way there I hear this noise in my right front tire, take the little cover off and a lugnut is all the way loose. Guess I forgot to tighten it from yesterday. Get off work, and the left front tire is almost completely flat(it had lasted all day and was fine). I barely make it to a gas sation to air it up, it's fine on the way home. The I get home, and now this.

check your heater core mine did the same thing water coming out and such look at where the lines connect into the heater core of the firewall and I bet you will see it leaking from there I think it's time for a new heater core

it could still be the AC...mine does the exact same thing when I run the AC, sizzles on the exhaust pipe and creates a big puddle under the car.

my ac does that too, not a huge puddle, but about 10-12" in diameter, unless on uneven terrain. but for a large leak, id look into the heater core. how many miles, last fluid change, and other symptoms included like no heat would help to isolate the bad part. do some inspections and tests.
