no start all of a sudden

after driving it around monday night (with avengence since its been running right after the DELTEQ) and all weekend too with no issues, i go out Tuesday morning to head too work and all it will do is crank over but no fire
battery is good, its showing full power, and its cranking like it normally does

i checked the coilpacks, they all light off with ease, i checked all fuses related with getting the car started (ignition, pcm/batt, injectors etc. etc. both under the hood and in the dash)
the delteq diagnostic LED lights off when it is sposed too in the order it is spose too, all connections at the delteq box and ICM are connected tightly
the fuel pump is going like it should

i can mash the gas pedal into the floor and i will start but wont idle and as soon as i let out off the gas, it sputters and dies

only things i havent checked are if the plug wires pulled out of the boots or if there is any spark at the plug end of the wires (but i would think so since it will fire with the gas on the floor....

any ideas?
some have said IAC...

Re: no start all of a sudden

That was similar to the behavior my car exhibited when the Engine Temp Sensor on the waterpump was unplugged/loose.

Re: no start all of a sudden

well that sensor is hooked up and not loose or anything like that at all.
guess i'll swap that out and pull the IAC also and give that a good cleaning

other then that i am stumped!
fuel filter is less then 1500 miles old and there really isnt much else i can think of...
