The hose coming off the waterpump and then down and around towards the left side of the engine bay to the radiator is called what hose? "Lower left radiator hose" ? Its not a very big hose, just hoping someone could tell me the exact name cuz i know none of the dufaces at the parts store will know.

Its called the water pump hose I beleive, but I would ask "shoebox" about this one he has a large parts list. If you goto autozone they will tell you the name, just look at the part number on the hose and give it to them and they will give you the name and everything.

i have confirmed it to be a heater hose problem. That long hose that actually has an "in" and an "out" that goes all the way back up to the dash. Well its leaking antifreeze, so i guess i gotta replace that whole thing which i imagine wont be to cheap.

Do you have an oil cooler????? Might be the hose....

You do not have to change the whole heater pipe and hose assembly..

 

That hose is the one that would feed coolant to the oil cooler, if equipped. Otherwise, AFAIK, it is no big deal. Just buy a piece of heater hose as there are no bends in it. IMO, it would be a waste of money to buy the GM hose for way more money than 3 feet or so of heater hose the appropriate size.

anybody have an idea what sieze heater hose this would be? 1/2 inch? 3/4? 5/8? Im fairly positive that the only spot it is leaking at is right at the spot where it connects to my water pump. The heater hose is just worn out i guess. So i need to go buy like Ryan94 said...3 feet of hose ( trying to find out what size ) and clamp it in place of the old worn out hose up to the metal part of the hose im guessing.

Well tell me what HOSE # in this diagram it is and I can tell you what SIZE the hose is..
there are like 6 heater hoses on these cars..

I'm thinking from the diagram...this hose would be #12 ??? hooks right onto the waterpump...then comes down and attaches to the metal hose and runs back into the dash. Thanks

That's 3/4" ID
Try to maybe find a preformed elbow[3/4" ID] in Pep Boys etc..
Don't forget that the 'flow restrictor' is in there[look for it.. it's not far down that hose from the water pump.. #13 on the diagram..]
The hose from the water pump does not go all the way to the hard pipe.. the flow restrictor is in there..
You can cut the swaged aluminum clamp off the flow restrictor and replace it with a worm type clamp..
