Thats what mine was when it acted like that. New Ignition control module and it runs like new. Mine had 200000 miles on when it started.

Nope. My mind is made up. My thinking is I replace the ICM. Cool, NO WHAT? some sensor or something will eventually go out causing performance issues. Anyway. Im taking my car off the street so I'm not worried about streetability,

well, dont blame you. infact thats what Im doin. my 383 is goin in my Iroc, and will be single plane carbed and big solid roller cam.

Just a thought....were any fuses blown as a result of this? Both in car and under hood fuses are OK?

Yes that was the first thing I checked was the fuses. There good to go.

no. thinking holley HP 850. course dp mech. sec.'s.

what kind of build you planning? with that cam Id go with an rpm air gap. hands down. and a 750
