No spark !

I just did Lloyd heads, Joe cam, long tubes, 30# injectors, 52mm tb. And I got a tune from PCMforless. I got the car running and have driven it several days and i drove it for about 2 hours the other night. Now I went to start it today and it doesnt even try to fire. I checked for spark and it has none. I had no signs of opti failure the night before. Like i said, i drove it for 2 hours, romping on it and it didnt even miss. Now this. Anyone have any ideas?

Yah, it cranks over fine. I checked the spark by putting a piece of metal in the spark plug boot and the holding it close to the head. I got nothing. Ill try switching out coils with my friends 95 formula. Shoebox,
Would a fuse keep it from sparking?

If the IGN fuse is blown, there is no power to the coil, therefore no spark. You should check for spark out of the coil if there is no spark at a plug wire.

If there is spark at the coil but not at the plugs, does this mean bad opti?

Ok guys, there was no spark from the coil either. I went and got my buddies coil off of his formula and still nothing. This morning before I did any of this i tryed to start it up after letting it set for a few days and it fired up for about 3 seconds then died. I cant figure out what the deal is. Shoebox, when you say ignition fuse, do you mean the one that says PCM IGN or the one that just says IGN? The one that just says IGN doesnt have anything in it. It is a smaller hole that the other style fuse wont fit in. What else could be the problem? Somebody please help me. Thanks

I had the same problem not to long ago after putting to top of my motor back together. One of the connecters fron my ignition box wasn`t snapped back together very well and had wiggled loose.
i would suggest checking all your connections.

Well, a 1994 may be labeled differently, but look at fuse 11 under the hood. That's the one I mean. If it actually fired for a few seconds it may not be the problem. Look for 12v on the pink wire to the coil when the key is ON.

The pink wire has power. I just checked it. And both fuses, the one under the hood and the one in the dash are both good. Any other ideas? THanks.

I checked all my fuses and they are good. Is it possible that if the opti is fried that, the computer will tell the coil not to work? That is the only thing i can think of. Cuz everything checks out ok.

You can see if you are getting any signals to fire the coil.
