Red face no rear speakers?

Hey whatz up guys,my 94 z only has the two door speakers, the 6" speaker in the back, and the stock bose head unit. the whole system is still stock, but my rear seat speakers werent there from factory. Obviously the ppl were cheap and didnt wanna pay the extra dough. Anyways i was wondering if anyone ever came across this in their cars. Is the wiring somewhere in there or will i have to rewire the car? The bose cd player just took a crap on me so thatz gotta go to.

I am only a newbie to camaro's but have done lots of reading in the past couple of weeks and I read that the 5 speaker factory option wasnt offered until 1995 year models.

my 95 has the 5 speaker system but I would trade problems with you, lol

Speakers/cd player all works great, but I think I have a spun bearing

I'm not really sure why you'd want speakers back there. IMO it isn't worth your time to put speakers back there.

I actually did the opposite and removed my speakers from back there and just run the doors and midsails. Noone sits wayyyy back there anyhow I think it'll actually hurt your soundquality bouncing the sound up off the rear hatch.

Are you going to run a sub? If not i guess i can understand putting some 6x9s back there for some lows. They won't really perform anyways since they won't be mounted securely and you'll have to find some with smaller magnets to keep the magnet off the fender. If you want lows just get a sub setup.

They don't have the speakers in the midsails is the deal... There are speaker covers there but no speaker behind them. They just have the door speakers and one mid-sub setup in the driver's side hatch panel. They don't sound too bad, but they sure made an improvment in the 95 5 speaker setup.

I think the original post was about a 94, not the newer bose 5 spkr system. He has fronts and 6 inchers in the midsails and was talking about adding something to the empty far rear. I think the far rear is designed for a 4" stock, but many people cut it out for a 6x9.

I wasn't clear, but thats what someone did to my car (added 6x9s to the rear for a total of 6 speakers). I removed the infinity 6x9s from the rear and upgraded my door and midsail speakers.

Thats what i'd recommend to anyone. The front two seats are surrounded by 4 speakers and unless your concerned about your rear psgs hearing music in surround from behind i wouldn't worry about the rearmost speaker locations. Since we all know how the backseats are i don't think to many are worried about their backseat passengers listening pleasure, but rather their own

No, thats not what he was talking about. Camaros don't have those far back speakers anyway, thats a firebird thing. He meant he only has the two front speakers and the sub, no speaks for the people in the back seats

I'm gonna throw this out there and probably get bashed for it. But are Firebirds luxury models or something. Becasue it seems like they get all the cool stuff

I mean atleast camaros are faster.
