I have a 94 Z28 with the 460le tranny. It started making metalic noises then all forward gears went away. I still have reverse but no forward. I guess since I have reverse it is not the torque convertor right? I just had both elect solenoids replace this past summer because I lost 1st and overdrive. Any ideas out there?

 

clutch paks. time for a rebuild.

 

If the snap ring that holds the boost valve in breaks or comes loose, it will do the same thing. How long was the tranny making noise? And did it all go out at once or slowly?

It made the noise for a couple of weeks then one day would not get any of the forward gears
