No Dash Lights

OK I just installed a new head unit yesturday and everything works fine, except when I turn my head lights on the dash does not light up, or any other interior light I think. The heads light still come on but not the dash nights. My friend that was helping me said it might be because the wire for the dimmer wasn't hooked up, or a fuse. Anyone have this happen to them? What color wire is for the dimmer? I checked all the fuses and they are fine, it has to be a wire somewhere because this just happened after my HU install.

I had the exact same thing happen to me on my 95 TA when I was fixing the steering wheel radio control lights. I thought I checked everything and tore my dash apart like 3 times and couldnt find anything. I drove around like that for about 7 months and checked my fuses one day and sure enough it was a 5amp fuse blown. I replaced it and all the lights came back on. I still swear that I checked my fuses when it first happened, so I woukld suggest changing some of the fuses anyway(I dont remember which fuse). Let me know if you need anymore help.

Don't bother I figured out the problem. It did turn out to be a fuse, the stop/hazzard fuse. Everything works now.
