note: cutout will only work for your passenger side cat and if you do one side only itll mess things up

i agree with D james. If you're considering a set of longtubes in the near future which is a lot better investment than an offroad pipe go for it. I don't think its worth it for you right now, cuz you still have those stock manifolds.

Don't tell him he can't get the driver side cat off. I have the same exact car and I had both of my cats taken off with no problem whatsoever. The driver side cat takes a little more work than the passenger side, but it can be done. The guy had to cut the cat off using 2 different methods and once he finally got it off, he simply bent a piece of pipe to the angle to make it fit and welded it back. They sound a whole lot better, and I ran into NO problems. It can be done. Cut those cats off. I only had a Flowmaster when I got mine taken off, and the car sounds great and there are no problems at all.

I have the offroad pipe from summit. Its really good quality and the slp headers im getting will bolt right up to the y pipe. I noticed quite a bit of difference with the y pipe. The sound difference was a lot too.

I think I will try the offroad Y pipe from summit with no cats. Seems much simpler. If I were to put on headers in the future, they would have to be shorties, due to the ground clearence problem I would have with alot of the roads in my town. I already put on a Magnaflow Cat-Back, and I am putting on the Y pipe with no cats to hopefully free up some exhaust flow, and make the Z roar. How much louder will this make my magnaflow system? Will it be raspy or will I be fine?

Jeez don't let bad roads stop ya from getting the logtubes unless your car is lowered or plan on it. Out here in Michigan we have horrible roads, as a matter of fact, a few years back Michigan was rated as the worst state for roads, not sure if it still is, but I haven't had a problem, the collectors are so far forward they really don't hit anything. I do get some scrapping with my true duals on the mufflers once in a great while going off of a very steep driveway but thats all.

Hope so. I am tired of really stepping on it, or revving it in neutrol to get heads to turn. Well, most everyone looks at the car, but i want them to hear it coming. Any other easy mods i can go for easy hp while stasying every day driveable?
