should i rebuild first, and put a blower on next. or buy the SC and put it on this winter and save up for the new short block for next winter? i really want to get this thing boosted so i was thinking about getting a used blower, and running 6psi till next winter when i could put in a forged bottom end, either 355 or 383 depending on money. cars got 64xxx well taken car of miles on it. i dont race it and dont even really beat on it and i never rev about 5500.

 

I'd do the rebuild and not take the chance of busting your 64k bottom-end (considering it still has life left)
