Newbie Here 1997 Z28 w/Exhaust Q'S

After I "stumbled" across a very high mileage (210,000) 97 Z28 I stumbled across this website, and have found it quite informative. I have allready had to have my motor mounts replaced, tranny mount, and stabilizer bars, though now the exhaust needs replacing. After that, I ran down to the local drag strip and only put down low 15's in the 1/4. Well, I know my cats are bad, and it was missing the muffler when I bought the car, so it is time for a new exhaust system and cats and maybe get into the upper 14's, I cannot afford anything wild right now including headers, though I just need a decent flowing exhaust and cats, do you think any muffler shop can provide a decent exhaust system at a reasonable price, or should I just buy a system from Summit or Jegs?

u should look into magnaflow, randem tech, hooker, or slp loudmouth, the more expensive ones are corsa, borla etc. check summit or jegs for some of these systems
