Collapsed lifter question.

I have collapsed a lifter or two and I would like to know if I should just go ahead and rebuild the motor or just replace the lifters. I'm asking this question because I was planning on rebuilding the motor next month anyway and already have all the parts. The only problem is that I still need to give them to a shop for machining/assembly. Should I just put a new set of lifters in and stay on schedule or speed everything up and do it now within the next week or so? I'm just wanting some opinions because I'm leaning towards just speeding everything up, but don't want to screw up or overlook something in the process, ya know.
