newbie cam question

When buying a new cam, what else would I end up having to buy or upgrade . Or is it possible to just stick a new cam in a stock car (my car, 96 M6 stock ). With that said, what type of cam should I be looking at? Right now my T/A is my daily driver and I'm not lookishooting for more the 350hp anytime soon. Appreciate the help, you guys rock.

You should change your valve springs and rockers depending on the cam size, but if I were you I'd do it anyways to see the full potential of the cam.

Get new springs.
Rocker arms are optional.
CC 305 is pretty much the best cam for a near-stock car.
Thunder Racing has them for $250, and various springs from different vendors.

If your going with a stock one they are optional. But if your going to upgrade then you definately want new springs at the least and some 1.6's. If its gonna continue to be a daily driver and your shooting for about 350rwhp I would go with the Hotcam or the CC305. They are ideal for a daily driver. I would personally not go bigger for a daily driver. For me a daily driver is like 70 miles 5 days a week.
