Re: Newbie

Is it a Z28 or SS? If it's an original V8 it should have a 6-speed.

As for upgrades, I'd look into a catback, headers or a cai first. First of all I'd give it a rigorous tune-up, which means new wires, plugs, replace fuel filter, etc.

Re: Newbie

first of all you might have mistyped it, but its a 6spd!!!
Start off with your basic's ,COld air intake,Catback, good shifter (pro 5.0), couple tune-up items like Opti, plugs, wires, fuel filter,PCV valve,02 sensors, flush fluids

That's a RS so it's a V6. He mistyped saying it was a V8.

Re: Newbie

The guy drove it with a bad oil pump. Had low pressure for most its life. It runs, but you can hear it knock the warmer it gets.
