Adding heads but using the same cam, do I need a new tune or will the MAF correct for the heads?

If you're talking dyno tune theyl'l probably be able to adjust your spark curve a little as well as some minor tweaks to fueling to pick up a few horsepower, however if you're talking mail order, you are probably better off just letting the o2s correct for the new heads. But I don't know for sure, email the pcmforless guys and ask if they think it'd be worthwhile

02's don't do anything at WOT. And I went from 391 to 405rwhp on the dyno over my old tune vs getting tuned for the new heads.

I believe o2s do affect WOT, they affect the long term fuel trims which afaik are used for WOT. The o2s just arent used in WOT, but the previous input from them is used.

Most tuners tune that feature out so 02's have no affect at WOT at all.

I'm not seeing any way to tune out the bank lean modifiers from WOT in tunercat...I think you are mistaken on that. If the O2s werent used for WOT then you would need a retune every time the temperature changed, or every time it rained, Heck you'd need to retune if you drove up a hill.

I know for a fact PCMforless does that and my tuner does that I'm not mistaken.... My tuner uses LT1 edit and I'm not sure what pcmforless uses, theres more software out there than tunercat....

I'm not seeing anything in lt1edit or tunerpro rt to do what you are talking about and i couldn't find anything on pcmforless's site about it. And assuming pcmforless does (which i see no reason they would) he wasnt tuned by pcmforless, he was tuned by madtuner.

A new tune would be nice but you don't need one. I put ported heads, 220/226 cam, and rockers on my '94 with the stock tune and it ran fine. Gas mileage was the same too.

It's called locking the BLMs, and tons of people, pros and amateurs alike, do it.

With my mods in sig, what should my rwhp/tq be now? I was thinking in the 330-340 rwhp and 350 rwtq range. If so, would it be best to upgrade injectors to 30#?
