I was thinking about doing that kinda nozzle setup like you have in mine. I was going to do the plate system cuz I know it sprays all the way across the TB. With that wet shot you have it seems as if mostly the drivers side would get the majority of the spray due to the split elboe ,TB and intake design. How does it work for ya? anybody else on that spray design?
Works fine, it's actually pointed at a little more of an angle than it looks. Picked up 10 mph with a 100 shot with the stock rubber elbow w/ the nozzle in the exact some location. Several others have it this way w/ the same results. Plate systems seem to be more trouble than they're worth in regards to LT1's.

Here is the info on the TRICKFLOW website.

This is a nice kit. Comes with a rubber grommet to install the IAT sensor, and comes with another grommet for optispark vent. It's approx. 1" shorter than the vortech piece, 7.31" OAL x 5.94" OAW. The ceramic coating has a semi-polished finish. The ceramic coating can be polished further by using metal polish.

I have this elbow as well....I had the polished Vortech before and sold it and got this one, here is why:

1) The Trick Flow piece fits much better with the stock air box setup or CAI. The Vortech is the piece from their supercharger kit and takes some mods to fit.

2) The Trick Flow has MUCH BETTER connections for the IAT sensor. The Vortech causes you to grind down and thread the sensor, the Trick Flow uses a rubber grommet where the IAT fits very snuggly.....just like OEM.

3) The Trick Flow actually looks better! The Vortech scratches VERY easily...even from wiping with a rag!

4) The Trick Flow does NOT have that crazy center divider.

I also noticed a better throttle response from switching to the Trick Flow from the Vortech......certainly from the stock rubber piece. Some may say there are no gains from this piece, I for one dis-agree since I certainly can tell a difference.

Hope that helps ya all! Just enter the part number given in this thread on their website and it comes right up......$89.95 and she is yours!

see the Vortech elbow is why i didnt wanna spray the truck cuz of that center divider. If I spray right where Loadre did I would be worried about the spray not getting into the right side of the motor all that well. It would be seperated right after it and then again at the TB. or is it ok?

I got one and drilled + tapped it for my NX shark nozzle. Looks pretty pimp. No more ripped or torn rubber elbows.
