New Track times. better but dissapointing

I headed up to New England Dragway lastnight to get a few runs in. I'm kinda dissapointed but I did improve since the last time I was there. I'll just post my best run

60ft 2.17
330 5.92
1/8 9.0
mph 80
1000 11.62
1/4 13.87
mph 99.9

The car is running real rich you can smell it. I would have atleast figured a 102 or 103 mph trap. How much would I benefit from a PCM forless tune?

thats really low for your mods. I say get some tires and suspension stuff and try and get that 60 down. You can get it tuned, but i don't think your mods really require the tuning, but it might help.

WOT it shouldn't be using the O2s anyways.
I am a believer in tuning for stock cars, i got mine for a gear change and was pleasantly surprised with the additional torque.

I have a 95 with all your mods except Stall, Rebuild, and Tune and I get about the exact same time. I also have relocated LCA's and SFCs yet similar 60' times. I was dissapointed with my 1/4 as well... I thought the headers+cutout would yield more than 0.15

these posts are so common maybe its your driving? ever had someone who has a fast lt1 ride with you and critique your driving habits? that might help. im pulling 13.9's at 104 on 2.3 60's with only a k&n fipk and slp exhaust on horrible tires.

Your falling off in MPH at the end of the track.. My 1/8 mph was 79.43 and I finished at 101.19.. Your 1/8 is faster then mine.. I have a M6 so maybe that has something to do with it.. Just an observation..

What was the weather? Temp, humidity? Probably not real bad up in that part of the country.

Around here the summer heat/humidity is really hard on the LT1..I have seen as much as .4 difference between summer and late fall just from air temperature and humidity changes.

The ET is not as bad as the MPH. You would be solidly in the 13.7s if you could get that 60ft down to 2.0X, where it should be.

You should be about 102-103 MPH in decent air with the longtubes, etc. I know when I was stock plus FLP longtubes I ran in the summer heat and never got better than 13.78@101.8. Went to heads/cam before the fall came around so I never new what it would run in better weather.

Tenacious - where do you live in MA. I live in Taunton. I think I have seen your car around MA.

Your times seem right on, considering weather, I ran a 13.64@101mph w/ 2.1 60' in about 88* with a humidity of about 80+% with similar mods, I put down 297rwhp and 316 ftlbs' torque @ the dyno same day.
I have trapped 106 in 59* weather running a 13.5.

You have an A4 compared to my m6 so I am going to beable to put out more power than you with similar mods. Humidity kills mph, but your time looks right on considering your 60'. Good times!

Ha you think thats bad...I went 13.9@102.44 with a 2.3 60ft. Not sure if my mods are in the sig or not. I'll see when the post comes up. Thats thats a huge dissapointment. Oh well it was the first time ever at the track though.

What is the altitude out there?
I run 9.1 in the 1/8th, and pull a 99 mph in the quarter...and thats when my car was bone stock. If you have all the bolt-ons, you should be at least running low low 13's at 106-108.

Maybe there is somehing that needs to be diagnosed.
