New times for LE 383.
Re: New times for LE 383.
Wow!! 118 trap!! I hope I can get a trap like that!! I have slightly more horsepower, but slightly less torque... M6 though. But those are badass times!!
I have a completely stock drivetrain... so i'm afraid to take it down the strip. I might baby it completely just to see what'll happen. Impressive though man... you are making me so damn eager to sell my life away and build up my driveline!! haha

Re: New times for LE 383.
I have my custom Bret Bauer cam, just lookin at the numbers I cannot wait to see what it does power wise and time wise. The car has a auto, 2500 rpm stall, 12 bolt and 3 " steel DS, BMR suspension with M/T ET radials. I should be in the 11's finally as well!
Those are spectacular times!

Nice times but I am Sorry to tell you guys these 10bolts are stronger than most LT1's as long as they are autos. I ran 10.23@134mph last year before I swapped it b/c the car was getting too fast if it broke the rear. I ran a 1.48 60' on my stocker and it's sitting on my shop floor still together. The thing is to keep stock GM gears and stay with 3.23-3.42 any lower gear and the pinion gets too small and easier to break. Later Clint

They are fitted with Ferrara 2.05/1.60 which required new seats, have a 53.8 cc chamber and a 2.40 pushrod pinch. The springs are Comp 977's.
These heads are why my 383 can peak at 6500 with only 230 degrees of cam. And the small cam is why I only need a 2800 stall.
It all works together very well.
Also my dyno numbers need to be updated. I should be between 420-425 right now after I added the Jet-Hots and 3" duals with a Dr. Gas X and loaded a new program from Jeff Creech. The new exhaust wanted more fuel.

Those number's are great. I hope the trickflows flow that well after lloyd ports them. I think they tend to flow better on the exhaust side, but I ma not sure, If he can break 300 on the intake I will be quite pleased
