New Summit electric water pump

SUM-314351 $ 179.95

its a direct bolt-on that repalces the inards of your stock pump. You have to take it out and apart to do away with the can driven shaft but thats it!

Do you have to cut the ears as on the CSI unit?

CSI makes an electric waterpump as well. I believe I paid $137 for mine a couple of years ago.

There are five pumps that I know of, Meziere (regular and heavy duty), CSI, Summit, and CVR. They are all pretty much the same design, remove the stock mechanicals and bolt these down onto the pump. They have slightly different specs from each other. The specs of the CSI (after the impeller redesign) were as good or better than the competition for a lot less money when I bought mine. I haven't looked at them since but I doubt things have changed much.
