Finally after a year an half with no car new stroker 383 is in.Just put on about 100 miles tonight,runs good but has low rpm surge,it has a pcmforless tune,no dyno numbers until after break in,heres the combo what should i expect,scat rotating assembly,srp forged pistons 11.1 comp,P&P lt4 heads,XE 230/236 comp,slp shorties,stock TB,injectors

 

Sounds like a nice combo. After 500 miles or so, get a dyno tune.

 

how did that motor take a year and a half to put in your car?

 

prolly same as me. little things come up. big things come up. parts dont arrive in time, machinists dont get things done in time, working 50 hours at work, side jobs all week, blah blah blah. the problem is there's not enough time to do everything. my motor broke in early june, still not assembled. ha been assembled, but then dissassembled due to bad rear main cap. but its still moving along.

it only took 2 months to put back together.the rest of the time it was just sitting in the garage.

get lt1 edit and take it kennedys dyno tune thats what i am gonna do. i also have pcmforless tune and get about 4 miles to the gallon on 110 octane but i do have 13.6:1 compression but the 4 miles is bull crap i got to be able to get atleast 14

 

The stock tb & injectors are going to hold you back but I would guess 410-420rwhp & 420-430 rwtq.
