I do have the temp datamaster program that i can do a log.but i never did find out how long to do a log for.should i start from start up and run it throught the gear after it warms up or what?

What ever help anybody help me solve this problem.

 

It will run 12's right now with your traps. 12.5 is possible.

 

how is that with my trap speed be at 104 now I think i would have to get a 1.4 60ft befor with it at 109 yeah but now now.

Not unless you have a few pointers for me to get it to that point

 

It won't run 12's with a 104 trap. Best I put down N/A in albuquerque was a 13.79 at 104 with a 2.0 60ft. That was when I was running about 285hp and 280ish on the torque side at the wheels with a 4.10 gear. You should really get that thing on a dyno and see what your putting down and what kind of A/F's your running with your set up. You may be leaving some on the table. You may be able to scrap up a couple of tenths with a better 60ft, but with your set up, hooking up is one thing, but having the power to actually get out of the hole after you hook and not bog is another.

Out of all my LT1's "5 total" Only one did not make it to the 13's stock so most will .
As for your numbers,depending on your DA, your traps are very very low as a set of Long tubes and a few bolt ons should have netted you a 104 trap speed.
With your setup you should be trapping at least 106-107 and a few of my friends have similar setups and are running 12.6's and trapping 108-109 .. My old 6 speed lt1 hit 12's with shorties,tune,clutch,gears,sticky tires.
Id get rid of the translator and maybe speak with the person who tuned your car and see what his take on it is.Is it throwing any codes? False knock or anything could retard the timing and take some power. I saw some other members mentioned the times where about expected but to be honest they arent. Somethings up. With that being said I hope you find the problem. And sorry I couldnt be more help.

 

I sent an email to ion for help with the tune.I hope he might beable to do some more for the car.Also Is there much more that i can do to get the best out of this setup.I took off the translator (didnt run it anyway)I also forgot to add the old setup was on the stock 16s now i have stock zr1s off an ss so adding the wheels did that hurt my trap speed?

But if there are any small bolt ons that i can add to help or any track tips please add them I just want a 12sec time slip out of this car I'm going again the 28th so if i can do it by then please post.

 

You shouldnt need anything else. Id wait for him to email you back. There are so many variables that it would be impossible to diagnose this problem over the internet. He may have an answer for you. Just be patient and youll get it figured out. I know thats easier said then done.
