New problem that i thought i fixed...car wont start

I have a 96 camaro z28 M6

i put the clutch in and turned the key and the lights in the dash lit up and my radio turned on but you couldnt hear a click, it wasnt trying to turn over....and so i took the key out and tried it again...same thing...i sat there for liek 2 mins and put it in and it fired up....

later on, i tried starting it after gettin home from a football game....this time i cranked it like 10 times and nothin...and then i start jammin the clutch in and turnin the key at the same time and i could hear it try to turn over...and finally after about 10 tries it started up...also i must have blown the cd player fuse, because it wouldnt turn on....

any ideas? getting fuel pressure, brand new battery maybe a month old, the old one was leakin acid...with the old leaky battery, in the cold, the car wouldnt start, you could hear it clickin but it wouuld never start until it was jumped...also, the low coolant light came on last sunday...but hasn't returned....

Check main battery cables and connections on the RH shock tower.

You might want to test the clutch safety switch to see if it is working. You will need a meter or powered test light. Brown and yellow wires go to the switch on the clutch pedal.

You could possibly have an ignition switch or starter problem, too.

Do the headlamps stay bright when you try to start it?

No security light staying on?

i was told to turn the headlights on and try turning the key and see if they dim out...they didnt....but i still decided to take my pos/neg cables off and clean them up and the terminals and everything, didnt help....then i removed the plastic sheet that blocks all the wiring under the dash on the drivers side and tried to look for the clutch switch...no luck....im a newbie...but atleast i tried...i found what looked to be a yellow wire and a brown wire plugging into a little square box...but i couldnt tell where the wires went from...there wasnt a clear view from where it went and if it wrapped back around to the clutch...so i couldn't figure it out...and i couldn't find the starter with the car on the ground and my dad doesnt like me gettin it up on the jack, not to mention i dont have any stands...so we rolled it out into the street and did the roll-start jump ...it fired up and we dropped it off at the shop...hopefully they can figure it out without raping us $$$ wise....

thanks for the help tho...wish i had more experience...
